Team news: Tanjong Pagar’s veterans Ridhuan Muhammad and Khairul Amri will miss a reunion with their former side due to injury, while young forward Daniel Martens is also ruled out due to fractured ribs.

Meanwhile Tampines have a virtually full-strength squad to call upon, bar creative midfielder Shah Shahiran who is away on National Service (NS).

  • Tanjong Pagar’s last win against Tampines came in August 2014 in a 1-0 victory at Clementi – Tampines assistant coach Fahrudin Mustafic captained the Stags in that game, while Tanjong Pagar team manager Noh Alam Shah came on at half-time against his current side.
  • Tampines have scored in their last 41 SPL matches.
  • Tampines’ Boris Kopitovic is targeting to score for a fifth straight match.

In contrast, Geylang will have at least four players unavailable. Effervescent winger Nur Luqman Rahman is ruled out of the season after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury in last week’s Eastern Derby, while centre-back Adam Hakeem and Dutch forward Sylvano Comvalius are not deemed fit.
