SINGAPORE, 16 OCTOBER 2020 – Fairoz Hasan has become Albirex Niigata (S)’s first signing of the mid-season transfer window in the 2020 AIA Singapore Premier League (SPL).

 

The transfer of the forward, who turns 32 next month, was announced by the White Swans earlier today. Fairoz, has been without a club since leaving Warriors FC at the end of last season, said: “Happy to be part of the Albirex family now. I will do my best for the team! Arigato!”

Fairoz began his career with Sengkang Punggol in 2008 before going on to play for the Young Lions, Gombak United, Hougang United, Geylang International and Warriors. He enjoyed his best scoring season in 2018 with Geylang, netting seven times.

 

The experienced attacker is in line for a debut when Albirex visit the Young Lions this Sunday.
