Balestier Khalsa retain foreign quartet for 2021

SINGAPORE, 15 DECEMBER 2020 – Balestier Khalsa have confirmed their foreign player roster for the 2021 Singapore Premier League (SPL) season by retaining all four of their current imports.
Forwards Šime Žužul and Shuhei Hoshino, along with centre-back Ensar Brunčević and attacker Kristijan Krajček will continue to ply their trade with the Tigers next year after the club confirmed the news on their social media platforms.
Croatian duo Žužul, 24 and Krajček, 27, both signed for Balestier in 2019. Žužul has contributed 15 goals and 10 assists in 31 league games, while Krajček has amassed eight goals and eight assists in 30 matches. Japanese striker Hoshino, 24, joined in 2020 and was one of two players, the other being Zaiful Nizam, to complete all 14 league games. He provided four goals and three assists in 14 matches, while Serbian defender Brunčević, 21, who also signed in 2020, scored three times in five games before getting injured for the rest of the season.

Apart from the quartet, Balestier have also announced that goalkeeper Zacharial Leong and defender Ahmad Syahir will remain in their colours for 2021.
