Football fans in Singapore can look forward to “LIVE” telecasts of selected StarHub League Cup 2014 matches this month, beginning with this Friday’s (11 July) Group D match between Brunei DPMM FC and Balestier Khalsa FC.
Two other matches will also be shown “LIVE” on two other Fridays – a Quarter-Final tie on 18 July and the showpiece Final on 25 July. All three telecast matches will be shown on MediaCorp OKTO and StarHub SuperSports Arena (Channel 201) at 8pm.
The StarHub League Cup promises to live up to its rich history of surprises and upsets.
Indeed, the first two matches of this year’s competition have already seen Geylang International pull off an exciting 2-1 come-from-behind win over Tampines Rovers as well as an unexpected 4-0 thrashing for Albirex Niigata by Tanjong Pagar United.
