Women’s League Prize Presentation During League Cup Final

The 2014 StarHub League Cup is set to come to an end on 25 July,Friday, as Tanjong Pagar United will take on league leaders Brunei DPMM in the finale of the competition at 8pm at Jalan Besar Stadium.

This will be DPMM’s third successive appearance at the final round, and they will be looking to do better in this year’s edition, especially after being trounced 4-0 by Balestier Khalsa in the 2013 final.

On the same day, there will be a prize presentation for the FAS Women’s Premier League winners after the 2014 season came to an end.

Eunos Crescent were overall champions as they ended on 38 points, seven clear of second-placed and closest rivals Police Sports Association FC. F-17 FC came in third after they mustered 29 points throughout the season.

Eunos Crescent will also grab accolades for seeing their markswoman Kamaliah Hashim ending on the top of the scoring charts, after the hotshot scored 25 goals. The prize presentation will be held during the StarHub League Cup Final’s half-time.

Preceding the final a day before will be the StarHub League Cup Plate Final on 24 July, Thursday, 8pm, when Tampines Rovers will face Balestier at the Jalan Besar Stadium.

The Stags will want to end the tournament on a high by coming out on top against the Tigers in the Plate Final after the reigning league champions crashed out of the group stages with two successive losses.
