Singapore, 4 September 2026 – adidas announces a new chapter in its partnership with the Football Association of Singapore (FAS), unveiling the TIRO Pro 26 as the Official Match Ball of the Singapore Premier League (SPL). As the newly appointed Official Ball Sponsor, adidas will equip the Football Association of Singapore with match and training balls, including Official Balls and referees’ kits, for use across the Singapore Premier League, the Singapore Cup, and the wider FAS.
The TIRO Pro 26 will make its on-pitch debut during the Playback Community Shield 2026/27 match on 6 September, marking the start of a new season for Singapore’s top-tier football competition. Fans and players alike will see the ball in action as it takes centre stage in one of the SPL calendar’s most significant events.
About the TIRO Pro 26
Built to FIFA Qualify-Pro standards, the TIRO Pro 26 is designed to keep its shape, resist water absorption, and maintain predictable trajectories in all weather conditions. Its smooth 32-panel construction helps the ball fly more predictably, gives players greater control, and stands up to the demands of a full season of competitive football.
The ball’s construction combines thermal bonding with a high-performance, solid PU top layer and an EPDM foam layer for stability and structure in all conditions. A patched carcass delivers durability, rebound, and shape retention, while a reinforced bladder mix ensures optimal air retention, keeping the ball firm and well-inflated for longer.
Weighing between 430g and 440g in Size 5, the TIRO Pro 26 meets top professional standards and is approved for use on firm ground, artificial grass, hard ground, and turf – delivering consistent performance on any pitch across the country.
Partnership with the Football Association of Singapore
As part of this expanded partnership, adidas becomes the Official Technical Sponsor of the Football Association of Singapore, supporting the Singapore Premier League, the Singapore Cup, and Football Association of Singapore with match and training balls, including Official Balls, for club and national team use, and referees’ kits across sanctioned matches. Referees across the Singapore Premier League and Singapore Cup will officiate in adidas kits, bringing the same consistent look and uniformity in our officials within the league and cup competition.

The TIRO Pro 26 range will be available in two versions: TIRO PRO Singapore Premier League Ball for $149 and TIRO Singapore Premier League Ball for $75.
