Advisory on unauthorised football recruitment advertisements

The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) is aware of advertisements circulating on social media platforms purportedly offering players opportunities to compete in the Singapore Premier League (SPL).

The FAS wishes to warn players that such advertisements are not authorised by FAS or any of its member clubs. All player transfers and registration matters are handled exclusively by clubs, and the FAS does not endorse, facilitate, or have any association with such recruitment activities.

Players and their representatives are advised to exercise caution when responding to unsolicited offers on social media, particularly those requesting personal documents, highlight videos, or any form of payment.

Players and/or their representatives are advised to verify the legitimacy of any agent or agency prior to engaging them.

Only FIFA-licensed agents are permitted to act in player transfer matters.
