Hougang United sign Gabriel Quak

SINGAPORE, 18 JANUARY 2023 – Hougang United have added Gabriel Quak to their attacking roster ahead of the 2023 Singapore Premier League (SPL) season.

The 32-year-old joins his fifth SPL club in his 11th SPL season, having experienced three memorable seasons with the Lion City Sailors that saw him crowned SPL Player of the Year in 2020 and win the title in 2021.

Quak, who has six goals in 40 appearances for Singapore, is the second Lion to become a Cheetah this week, following Zaiful Nizam’s move yesterday.

The versatile winger, who can play anywhere across the front-line, began his career in 2008 with the Young Lions and has played for Geylang International and Warriors FC, with spells at the LionsXII and Navy FC as well.
