Regarded as one of Singapore’s most promising forwards when he made his professional debut in 2009, Nizam has not quite fulfilled his potential due to a series of knee injuries. He has been capped 24 times at international level, although he is yet to find the net for the Lions.

An incredible long-range strike saw Nizam land the SPL Goal of the Year award last season and Hougang will hope for more moments of magic from their new signing in the upcoming campaign.
