SINGAPORE, 16 FEBRUARY 2022 – The Lion City Sailors will begin their maiden Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League campaign in Thailand later this year.

The AFC confirmed earlier today that Buriram will be the centralised venue for Group F (East Zone), which the reigning AIA Singapore Premier League (SPL) champions were drawn into last month with two-time ACL winners Urawa Red Diamonds, defending Chinese Super League and FA Cup holders Shandong Taishan and the winner of the playoff between K League 1 outfit Daegu FC and Thailand’s Buriram United. All Group F matches are slated to take place from 15 April to 30 April.
