Long-standing partnership will reach 28 years by 2031, marking nearly three decades of support for Singapore football
SINGAPORE, 1 OCTOBER 2026 – POLAR Natural Mineral Water has reaffirmed its longstanding commitment to Singapore football by renewing its partnership with the Football Association of Singapore (FAS) for another five years, further strengthening its support across the local game.
Under the renewed partnership, FAS and Field Catering & Supplies Pte Ltd, owner of POLAR, will continue as the Official Sponsor of FAS, the Singapore Premier League (SPL), and the Singapore Cup from 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2031.
The partnership began in 2003, when Singapore’s professional league was still known as the S.League. By the end of the new five-year term, POLAR will have supported Singapore football for 28 years, making it one of the game’s long-standing partners.
Today, that support extends across the game, providing essential hydration to the players and personnel who train, compete, and work across Singapore football. The renewal, worth approximately $1.8m of POLAR Natural Mineral Water, supports every level of the game, including SPL clubs, the Lions, the Lionesses, and national youth teams, as well as referees, coaches, and match-day crew.

The renewed partnership will also mark a new chapter with the introduction of Singapore’s Beverage Container Return Scheme (BCRS). Clubs will return empty bottles through BCRS return points for recycling, supporting FAS’s efforts to reduce waste.
Mr Chew Thye Chuan, MD, Field Catering & Supplies:
“Since 2003, our objective has never been about advertising – it’s about supporting our local football team and standing with our community. Seeing POLAR on and off the field reminds us that we’re part of the heartbeat of the local football scene.”
Badri Ghent, General Secretary, Football Association of Singapore:
“The FAS is grateful to POLAR for backing Singapore football over the years. Long-term support from partners who believe in what we are trying to achieve is important to the continued development of the game, and we hope POLAR’s commitment will encourage more organisations to come forward and play their part. We thank POLAR for their continued belief in Singapore football and look forward to having them alongside us for the next five years and beyond.”
