WEDNESDAY, 25 SEPTEMBER 2024 – The Singapore Premier League (SPL) has announced changes to its fixtures in January 2025 in light of the revised dates for the AFF Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2024 (AMEC 2024). The AMEC 2024 will now take place from 9 December 2024, to 5 January 2025.
As a result of this adjustment:
- SPL Match Day 22, originally scheduled for 10-12 January 2025, has been moved forward to the weekend of 22 November 2024.
- Match 88: Brunei DPMM FC vs. Lion City Sailors FC will be played on 13 January 2025, a day from its original date in view of the scheduled Shopee Cup match on 9 Jan 2025 that involves the Lion City Sailors.
Furthermore, the Singapore Cup 2024/25 schedule has been modified:
- Match Day 1, originally set for January 4-5, 2025, will now take place on 1 February 2025.
- The tournament will conclude the group stage matches on 29-30 March 2025.
