Tampines Rovers-Home United Clash Postponed

SINGAPORE, 9 MAY 2018: Following Home United FC’s 3-2 win over Persija Jakarta in the first leg of the AFC Cup semi-final first leg last night, the Football Association of Singapore (FAS) has rescheduled the club’s upcoming Great Eastern-Hyundai Singapore Premier League match against Tampines Rovers FC on 12 May 2018 to 26 June 2018.

In a show of support and solidarity for Singapore football, Tampines Rovers FC readily agreed to the FAS’ request to postpone this fixture so as to allow the Protectors adequate preparation time in the lead up to the second leg of the semi-final which will be played in Jakarta on 15 May 2018.

Home United FC General Manager Badri Ghent said: “We would like to extend our appreciation to Tampines Rovers, in particular the Management Committee, for their support of our Club’s continued run in the AFC Cup, as we prepare for the second leg of the ASEAN Zonal Semi Finals. Our sincere thanks to the FAS as well, for their efforts in rescheduling the match.”

Fans who have already purchased tickets for the match should contact Tampines Rovers FC to exchange their tickets.
