SINGAPORE, 5 OCTOBER 2020 – Tanjong Pagar United have bolstered their squad for the 2020 AIA Singapore Premier League (SPL) season with the addition of Zulkiffli Hassim.

The Jaguars announced the signing of the winger earlier today on their social media channels. The 34-year-old has been training with them for the past few months and will join them for the remainder of the current season.

Zulkiffli had been without a club since leaving Warriors FC at the end of the 2019 season, having scored twice in nine league appearances for them. The attacker started his career in the Prime League with Woodlands Wellington and then Gombak United, making his professional debut for the latter in 2009. He left the Bulls for Balestier Khalsa in 2012 and is most synonymous with the Tigers, for whom he made close to 150 appearances in all competitions – including the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Cup – and scored 21 goals. Zulkiffli departed Balestier in 2017 and signed for National Football League Division 1 side Yishun Sentek Mariners, before returning to the SPL with Warriors in 2019.
