2018 Season to Kick Off with Great Eastern Community Shield on 31 March

SINGAPORE, 8 MARCH 2018: The Football Association of Singapore today released the full list of fixtures for the 2018 season of its professional league.

The season kicks off on 31 March 2018 with the Great Eastern Community Shield showdown between last season’s quadruple winners Albirex Niigata FC (S) and perennial powerhouses Tampines Rovers FC at the National Stadium, Singapore Sports Hub.

Fans can also enjoy a host of fun activities at the GREAT 110 Football Fiesta as part of the pre-match festivities. Not only can supporters purchase club merchandise at the booths set up by the nine clubs, they also have the opportunity to get up close with their idols at Player Meet-and-Greet Sessions. There will also be a kids’ football tournament as well as musical and cheerleading performances to entertain everyone. Other activities to provide a great match-day experience for fans are in the works, with details to be announced at a later date.
