SINGAPORE, 31 May 2023 – Matchweek 14 gets underway with an exciting battle between Balestier Khalsa and Lion City Sailors. The Tigers look to close the gap between them and the Sailors and continue on their journey up the standings.

Meanwhile, Hougang United have finally cracked the code and are currently on a two-match winning streak. The Cheetahs look to make it three in a row when they face off against Young Lions this Saturday.

Tigers look to close the gap

Balestier Khalsa vs Lion City Sailors | 1 June | 7.45pm | Bishan Stadium | Singtel Ch 111, StarHub Ch 202

Team news for Balestier Khalsa: A few players from Balestier Khalsa will be left out of selection due to injuries – Puvan Raj, Mukundan Maran and Aidil Johari.

Team news for Lion City Sailors: Rusyaidi Salime back from suspension and is likely to be back fit for the match. Izwan Mahbud still out injured.

  • Balestier Khalsa have only beaten Lion City Sailors once in their last 10 matches in the SPL.
