Singapore Premier League announce a list of fixture changes

FRIDAY, 14 JULY 2023 – The Singapore Premier League (SPL) has announced a list of fixture changes due to several factors.

  1. One of the changes will involve all four matches of Matchweek 27, originally scheduled to take place on 26-27 August 2023, which will be moved to 15-16 September 2023. This is due to the preparation time required for AFC U23 Asian Cup Qualifiers as per recommendation from the recent SEA Games review.

  1. With Bishan Stadium being utilised as a training venue for the upcoming Singapore Festival of Football, two SPL matches involving the Lion City Sailors will be rescheduled. Their home matches against Tanjong Pagar United originally scheduled on the 23rd of July and Balestier Khalsa on the 30th of July, will now be played on the 20th and 31st respectively.

3.The remaining Singapore Premier League home matches for Brunei DPMM, originally               scheduled to take place at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Brunei, will continue to be played at the Jalan Besar Stadium. The affected fixtures had to be rescheduled due to the delay in renovation works for Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium.
