SINGAPORE, 20 NOVEMBER 2024 – The 2024 Singapore Premier League calendar year wraps up with an exciting round of games in Matchweek 22. The week opens with BG Tampines Rovers welcoming a struggling Tanjong Pagar United to the Jalan Besar Stadium on Friday. The home side motivated to build on their recent back-to-back victories.
Albirex Niigata (S) are looking to return to winning ways as they travel to Young Lions on Saturday after suffering a disappointing 3-2 defeat to Brunei DPMM in their previous game. Young Lions themselves are also looking for an upturn in their fortunes as they sit eighth in the table, having only notched two wins in their last 10 matches.
Sunday marks the last game of the calendar year as the high-flying Geylang International host Hougang United at the Jalan Besar Stadium. With the Eagles in fine goalscoring form, the seventh-placed Cheetahs have a tough fight on their hands as they aim to climb back up the standings.
