SINGAPORE, 26 JULY 2024 – Match Week 11 of the Singapore Premier League (SPL) season kicks off with a double header on Saturday as Albirex Niigata (S) takes on BG Tampines Rovers at the Jurong East Stadium while Brunei DPMM entertain the Young Lions at the Jalan Besar Stadium.

The action continues on Sunday evening as Lion City Sailors host Hougang United at Bishan Stadium. Meanwhile in the other fixture, Balestier Khalsa look to draw level on points with Geylang International when the two sides meet at the Jalan Besar Stadium.

  • League leaders BG Tampines Rovers are the visitors to the Jurong East Stadium as they take on Albirex Niigata (S) on Saturday evening.
  • Albirex will look to quickly bounce back from the setback in their last match where they lost to Hougang United for the first time since July 2019.
  • The Stags, who dropped points against Eastern rivals Geylang International in their previous match, will be determined to secure a win to widen the gap between themselves and nearest rivals Lion City Sailors.
  • Tampines began their 2024/2025 SPL campaign with a 3-1 victory over the defending champions.
