Fadzuhasny Juraimi to lead Young Lions as Interim Head Coach

SINGAPORE, 16 JANUARY 2025 – Young Lions Head Coach Nazri Nasir is poised to join a Japanese club for an extended coaching attachment stint in the months ahead. An announcement on this attachment will be made in due course.

To ensure continuity in the team and the development of players, current Assistant Coach Fadzuhasny Juraimi will take charge of the team as Interim Head Coach.

He will lead the team in the Singapore Premier League this Saturday, 18 January, against Tanjong Pagar United at the Jalan Besar Stadium.

Nazri had previously led the team before stepping down in 2022 to focus on his duties as Assistant Coach of the national team. He returned to lead the Young Lions in May 2023.

Fadzuhasny, who also serves as the Head Coach of the Singapore Under-19 team, has been with the Lions as an assistant coach and was part of the coaching staff for the 2024 ASEAN Mitsubishi Electric Cup.
