Two SPL matches rescheduled for AFC Cup travels

SINGAPORE, 8 JUNE 2022 – Two upcoming matches in the 2022 AIA Singapore Premier League (SPL) have been rescheduled to allow Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Cup 2022 contenders Hougang United and Tampines Rovers receive adequate rest.

Tampines’ match with Albirex Niigata (S) in Matchweek 14 will be rescheduled from 1 July to 4 July, as the Stags will do battle in Group H on 27 and 30 June in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The second change will see the match between Hougang and the Young Lions in the same Matchweek rescheduled from 3 July to 5 July as the Cheetahs’ three Group I matches in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam take place from 24 to 30 June.
