The change, which were made in agreement with both teams involved, will see the fixture brought forward from 3 July to 2 May as a result of new dates for the 2021 AFC Champions League Group Stage (East), which Tampines will be involved in.
The match details are as follows:
Round | Original Date | New Date | Home Team | Away Team | Stadium | Kick-off |
8 | 3 July (Sat) | 2 May (Sun) | Young Lions | Tampines Rovers | Jalan Besar Stadium | 8.30pm |
As of 24 April, up to 250 fans will be allowed to enter match venues to watch in person without the need for any testing, as per guidelines announced by the COVID-19 Multi-Ministry Taskforce on 24 March.
SPL fans will still be able to watch every match LIVE on broadcast at Singtel TV, StarHub TV and live streaming online via the SPL Facebook page and YouTube channel, as well as the Facebook page of 1 Play Sports. Taking into account the fluid nature of the current situation regarding the AFC competition fixtures, further changes may be expected to the SPL schedule.
