SINGAPORE, 15 OCTOBER 2020 – Tanjong Pagar United have made Ammirul Emmran their second signing of the mid-season 2020 AIA Singapore Premier League (SPL) transfer window.

The Jaguars announced the news earlier today on their Instagram page, ten days after Zulkiffli Hassim joined their ranks. Like Zulkiffli, midfielder Ammirul also turned out for Warriors FC last year and will boost the club’s ranks for the remainder of the season.

The post read: “The 25-year-old, who was previously with the Young Lions and Warriors FC, will add more quality to our midfield with his crisp passing.”

Ammirul, who will wear 28, came through the National Football Academy before making his professional debut with the Young Lions in 2014. The combative midfielder spent four seasons there before making the move to Warriors in 2018 and has amassed close to  a combined 90 league appearances for both teams.

Tanjong Pagar resume their 2020 season with a home tie against Balestier Khalsa this Saturday.
