The 2025/2026 Season for

Geylang International FC

Geylang International are known for their flair and energy under Head Coach Noor Ali, and have built a reputation as one of the most entertaining teams to watch in the league in recent years.

The 2024/25 season of the Singapore Premier League (SPL) was a prime example of that. Geylang netted a league-high 97 goals en route to a third-place finish – producing standout results including a 3-2 comeback win against eventual champions, Lion City Sailors, and a 6-0 demolition of Albirex Niigata.

It is perhaps on the other end of the pitch that Noor Ali will push for more improvement. Geylang conceded 64 goals across the season, just five shy of the combined total of BG Tampines Rovers and the Sailors.

History & Achievements

Team History

Geylang International, originally founded in 1945 as International FC, is one of Singapore’s oldest football institutions.

The club has a proud tradition of developing local talent and engaging with its East-side community. Known as the “Eagles,” Geylang has weathered many ups and downs but remains committed to its grassroots values and competitive spirit.

Their golden era came in the late 1990s and early 2000s, winning the Singapore Premier League in 1996 and 2001, and the Singapore Cup in 1996.

Though they haven’t lifted silverware in recent years, Geylang continues to be a breeding ground for national team players and maintains a loyal fanbase. Under head coach Mohd Noor Ali, the club is focused on rebuilding with a mix of youth and experienced professionals.
