Woodlands Welcomes Back Bah; Snaps up Serbian Milos Jevtic

After being one year away from the green pitch, Bah Mamadou could not help it but to get back into action as the Guinean-born Singaporean makes his return to the S.League with Woodlands Wellington for the 2014 season.
Having last donned the jerseys of Warriors FC, the 35-year-old also had a one year stint with Woodlands in 2007, before playing for Gombak United the following two years.
“I missed football so much. It has always been in my blood since young and I feel ‘itchy’ when I don’t play it,” Bah shared.
The former Singapore international who has one cap to his name also expressed his gratitude to Woodlands’ new tactician Darren Stewart for the opportunity.
“I was playing under Darren during my Gombak days so he knows me well, and I am thankful he brought me here to Woodlands this season,” the lanky 35-year-old defender said.
“It is easy to get along with my new team-mates. I have played with some of them before so it is comfortable.”
Being able to play anywhere across the backline, the seasoned campaigner looks forward to bringing glory to the northern-based club, and declares that he will do his best and use his experience to help the Rams.
The local signing is joined by Woodlands’ latest foreign signing, Milos Jevtic. The Serbian defender has played in Serbia’s top tier division last season and tasted Cup glory.
“I feel home here in Woodlands although it’s my first time here. My team mates are all friendly and I love them,” the 24-year-old remarked.
“We have a good coach who helps a lot and I hope we can win all cup competitions and personally I am looking at a top 3 in the league. As a defender, I wish that we concede as little goals as possible too.”
To catch Bah, Jevtic and the other new signings in action, be sure to be at the Hougang Stadium on the 22nd February for Woodlands’ season opener against Hougang United!
